Michael Shaw, a writer for the website Bag News Notes, captured the above image of a Marine recruiting billboard. I’m not entirely sure there’s an ethical issue involved here, but the writing is certainly vague. What does this ad say about Hispanics? What does it say about Marines? That Marines have the same values that Hispanics do? If there’s an ethical angle to this, I’d love to know what it is!
